Emigration Canyon Community Council

The Emigration Canyon Community Council is the “grassroots” representation for Emigration Canyon. ECCC provides a voice for the Canyon and recommendations to the Metro Township and Salt Lake County on residents’ needs and services.

The mission of the Council is two-fold: first to serve as an advocate for issues affecting Emigration Canyon residents, and second, to communicate with Canyon residents about issues affecting the canyon.

The ECCC is comprised of 12 elected members, who are Canyon residents. Community Council members serve on a voluntary basis. Each is elected by Canyon residents to a four-year term; six are elected each even year. All 12 serve at-large, as there is no districting in the Canyon.

The ECCC is a member of the Association of Community Councils Together.

Enclosed you will find contact information for each of the Council members. Reach out to us at EmigrationCanyonUT@gmail.org with any questions or concerns you have, and we will do our best to address them.
