NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
EMIGRATION IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

 The Emigration Improvement District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.

*    If the proposed budget is approved this would be an increase of 12.53% above the Emigration Improvement District property tax budgeted revenue for the prior year.

*    The Emigration Improvement District tax on a $ 649,000 residence would increase from $ 285.56 to $ 308.78 which is $ 23.22.

*    The Emigration Improvement District tax on a $ 649,000 business would increase from $519.20 to $ 561.42 which is $ 42.22 per year.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
